Managed Endpoint Basic is the $40 per covered endpoint per month recurring endpoint package. It includes unlimited remote support during standard support hours for covered endpoint users, plus endpoint monitoring, patching, security telemetry, asset tracking, ticketing, and standard remote remediation. Endpoint backup protection is not included.

Package definition

Managed Endpoint Basic is the recurring endpoint support package for covered endpoints. It includes unlimited remote support during standard support hours for covered users on covered endpoints, along with endpoint monitoring, patching, security telemetry, asset tracking, ticketing, and standard remote remediation.

Monthly rate

Managed Endpoint Basic is $40 per covered endpoint per month unless the Order Form says otherwise.

This rate covers the managed endpoint service scope below. Microsoft licensing, telecom, hardware, supplier pass-through charges, taxes, projects, on-site work, and out-of-scope work are not included and will be billed separately unless explicitly stated in writing.

Best fit

Basic fits organizations that need a predictable support relationship and a clean endpoint operations baseline, but do not need endpoint backup monitoring as part of the endpoint fee.

It is most appropriate for standard office workstations where user support, patching, asset visibility, and monitoring are the primary recurring needs.

Included recurring scope

  • Unlimited remote support for covered endpoint users during standard support hours.
  • Remote troubleshooting for normal workstation, access, application, and user productivity issues.
  • Endpoint monitoring and remote management for covered devices.
  • Patch management workflow for supported operating systems and common supported applications.
  • Endpoint security telemetry review and standard alert triage.
  • Asset tracking, ticket history, and recurring endpoint documentation.
  • Standard remote remediation for routine endpoint issues.
  • Basic coordination with Microsoft 365 or identity administration when those services are in scope for the client.

Not included in Basic

Not included in Endpoint Basic unless added in writing:

  • Endpoint backup protection, backup monitoring, or standard endpoint restore operations.
  • Restore operations or backup-related recovery work.
  • Advanced security investigation or SIEM alert triage.
  • New workstation deployment, replacement, imaging, or large hardware refresh work.
  • Project work, migrations, deployments, rollouts, or planned change work.
  • Data recovery beyond routine user troubleshooting.
  • Security incident response beyond initial triage and containment.
  • After-hours non-P1 support.
  • On-site labor, cabling, printer hardware repair, copier repair, or physical troubleshooting.
  • Support for unmanaged, unsupported, BYOD, or otherwise uncovered systems.
  • Line-of-business application customization, vendor-led projects, or database repair.
Backup scope

If workstation backup protection is required, use Managed Endpoint Complete or add backup scope as a written billable item on the Order Form.

Support boundaries

Unlimited remote support means covered users can request help for normal day-to-day endpoint issues without per-ticket billing. It does not mean unlimited project work, unlimited after-hours work, or unlimited support for unmanaged systems.

If work is planned, project-like, materially changes the environment, requires on-site presence, or falls outside covered systems or selected services, it is out of scope and billable unless included in writing.

Work outside the defined service scope is billable at standard rates.

Basic remains a managed service package, not a break-fix support bank. Covered systems must remain accessible, supported, and reasonably standardized.
